Hi


I am back again. I really have a lot of homework to do but I have only completed some of them. I have a lot more to do. I am to write about the councilor camp. I really enjoyed the councilor camp. It was held in school from 11th June to 13th June. I was the AIC for my group. On the 1st day, we had ice breaker games and we played a lot. I was not very close with the sec 1 councilors as I am not an outspoken person. I did make an effort to talk to them. Then, I realized that they are very nice people. They were so friendly and they treated me like an elder sister. We had world cafe which means there were 8 groups and have to discuss within the group what are the duties of a councilor and what prevents them from being a good councilor. There councilors came up with a lot ideas which even shocked Mr. Paul. At night, we had the night hike at Changi village. Parents and Mrs Menon also came and joined the night hike. The interesting part of this hike is that students are to be blindfolded and their peers are to guide them on where to walk. I really enjoyed this hike as for this hike teamwork is really important.. On the second day, we learnt about other races through NE walk. I really learn about other races' culture. We even had lunch at an Indian vegetarian restaurant. That was the best food I had in the camp. The food was really delicious. At night, we were supposed to have campfire, it was raining so we quickly planned for a night walk. Everything went on well. I really loved scarring others. It was really fun. On the last day, we went to Changi to do our high elements. I was really afraid to do the high elements. Later on, then after completing them, I feel more confident of myself. Then it was time for me to go back. I really enjoyed the camp.
